Epicor Showcases Powerful New Analytics Tools and Next-Generation Parts Catalog for Automotive Aftermarket Businesses at AAPEX 2024

Las Vegas, NV November 04, 2024

Epicor, a global leader of industry-specific enterprise software and a premier provider and data aggregator for the automotive aftermarket, today introduced powerful new analytics tools that provide parts manufacturers with deep, actionable visibility into market demand and performance metrics. The new solutions — together with the industry-leading Epicor Catalog for Automotive now fully integrated with Epicor Vision — will be showcased November 5-7 at AAPEX 2024 in Las Vegas (booth A2238).

Epicor arrives at AAPEX after its recent acquisition of Solenium Group Inc. and Visual SKUs Inc., whose Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions bolster Epicor’s position as the most comprehensive provider of industry-standard catalog content in North America.

“Epicor’s most recent innovations and investments provide the entire automotive aftermarket ecosystem — from manufacturers to distributors to service and repair shops — with new capabilities to make, market, move and sell products more effectively and profitably,” said Tim Hardin, Epicor Senior Vice President of Global Automotive, Data, and Extend Services. “Powered by an ‘ease of use’ mindset, our data-driven solutions help the aftermarket eliminate inefficiencies, accelerate revenue growth, strengthen customer loyalty and boost bottom-line performance.”

The new analytics tools showcased at AAPEX are part of Epicor’s broader portfolio of aftermarket data analytics solutions that help the ecosystem optimize channel programs, predict repair behavior, and measure market performance. New capabilities include:

Epicor Brand Performance Analytic

Epicor Brand Performance Analytic provides deep insight into brand performance in the Epicor catalog versus competing brands. Users can delve into various win/loss percentage statistics versus competitive brands, including by vehicle makes, imports versus domestics, price, screen position, and a host of other factors.

Users also can easily generate graphs to view KPIs such as the winning brand’s average percentage versus its competitor brands in the catalog, vehicle make percentages for the winning brand, ranked highest to lowest, or the percentage of import versus domestic vehicle makes for the winning brand.

Epicor MarketPACE Unit Sales Analytic

Epicor MarketPACE Unit Sales Analytic complements the company’s existing indexed Net Dollar Sales analytic tools with the ability to track and analyze unit sales metrics, such as year-over-year unit sales performance by part description, unit sales and rankings for top makes and models, and unit-based brand competitive trends. This new ability to analyze unit sales is a direct result of customers asking for the capability to compare dollar sales versus unit sales and assess the possible impact of inflation on parts performance.

Epicor Demand Curve Analytic

Epicor Demand Curve Analytic tracks part demand by vehicle age over a five-year snapshot for different part categories. This extends the capabilities of Epicor Catalog Coverage Monitor, giving users the ability to identify demand based on the year of a vehicle.

Epicor Catalog for Automotive – Now in Epicor Vision

The automotive industry’s premier electronic catalog is now fully integrated with Epicor Vision, Epicor’s leading distribution management system, allowing more customers to easily access the Epicor Catalog for Automotive within their existing workflows. The catalog is powered by Epicor’s industry-leading aftermarket product content engine, comprising more than 1.6 billion catalog applications and 12 million unique part numbers from more than 4,000 industry suppliers.
