BisTrack Order Entry Automation uses optical character recognition (OCR) and PDF-reading software—combined with BisTrack EDI interface to automate the customer PO and sales order entry process.
System templates are first set up for your account customers—the builders and contractors with whom you do repeat business—so that the system can then automatically recognize and process their POs.
Once the templates are set up, simply scan customer POs or drag and drop the POs that have been emailed as PDFs. BisTrack Order Entry Automation identifies the customer and the build site address. Then, it extracts quantity, unit of measurement (UOM), and pricing data for line items with SKUs using the OCR software.
