After several information-packed days of presentations, keynote speeches, and hands-on demonstrations, attendees at Epicor Insights 2024 in Nashville came together to honor the recipients of the prestigious Epicor Champion Awards. Each of these winners went above and beyond in their innovative, collaborative use of Epicor solutions to streamline operations and get ready for what’s next:

Fluidra (CEO Champion)

Since 1969, global leader Fluidra has set the standard in the pool and wellness sector for both the residential and commercial markets. Partnering with Epicor helps deliver a seamless user experience, driven by the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in developing sustainable products and services. From backyard creations to aquatic center venues for Olympians, Fluidra has worked to push the boundaries of excellence. With continuous innovation as one of its core pillars, Fluidra uses Epicor Kinetic deployed in the cloud to create products and services that are increasingly automated, efficient, sustainable, and more efficient to maintain. Whether it’s in a neighborhood backyard, or at the Aquatic Center in Chile’s National Stadium used for the 2023 Pan American Games and Parapan American Games, Fluidra is transforming the way people enjoy water for recreation and health.

Anderson Process (Innovation Champion)

Distributor Anderson Process has seen their company grow along with Epicor, as they work together to help customers lower costs and facilitate information-sharing with Epicor Cloud ERP for Distribution. They use Prophet 21 to enhance the operational profitability of every customer while providing expert-driven fluid equipment integration and services that increase production output and drive efficiency. As the organization has continued to expand, thrive, and take on acquisitions, Anderson Process has helped every new business convert to Prophet 21 within a month. With all branches on the same platform, they can share inventory, knowledge, and a cloud-based phone system, empowering them to offer their customers exceptional service from any location. They have continued to put the customer first—anytime, anywhere.

Carvana (Automotive Champion)

Carvana has revolutionized automotive retail with its multi-story car vending machines—customers can choose from tens of thousands of vehicles, get financing, trade-in, and complete a purchase entirely online with the convenience of home delivery or local pick up in over 300 U.S. markets. After developing a large language model (LLM), Carvana integrated Epicor Catalog, the largest automotive aftermarket parts database with the LLM, enabling technicians to identify the right item more efficiently.

Flex-N-Gate (Manufacturing Champion)

As an innovative manufacturer of plastics, metals, lighting and mechanical assemblies for the automotive industry, Flex-N-Gate created a revolutionary design for a one-piece car bumper in 1978 that is still used as a manufacturing and design reference today. Now holding over 850 global patents and operating seven R&D centers, this company continues to use Epicor solutions to produce customized, components for a wide range of customers.

Johnstone Ware Group (Distribution Champion)

As the largest distributor in the 118-member, 380-store national Johnstone Supply cooperative, The Ware Group has increased sales revenue and profit per employee by 70 percent after implementing Epicor Eclipse.. Making things seamless for their customers is top of mind for the Ware Group. For example, during a power outage at one branch, Ware Group employees continued to enter parts orders into Epicor Eclipse on their mobile devices via Innovo OE Touch—putting customers first.

New Hudson Facades (Manufacturing Champion)

New Hudson Facades has completed complex projects ranging from private residences to a 770-foot office tower, while also engineering, manufacturing, and installing one million square feet of custom curtain wall systems every year. As their supply chain integration requirements grew, they collaborated with the Epicor EDI team to build the customizations they needed to exceed expectations for their customers. The company also helped create the blueprint for the next release of Epicor Kinetic—demonstrating the power of partnership.

Novaria Holdings (Manufacturing Champion)

Novaria Group is a privately held leading precision component manufacturer that delivers optimum performance and sustainable growth to the aerospace and defense market.  To continue to innovate and automate workflows, Novaria has migrated eight companies to Epicor Kinetic on the government cloud while deploying a full suite of Epicor modules, Epicor Automation Studio and Epicor Quick Ship. Since its inception, Novaria has acquired two to three new companies each year, achieving a 20% growth rate.

Stokes Electric Company (Distribution Champion)

Stokes Electric Company, founded in 1933, has been a family-owned business for over 90 years. From one location with one employee to East Tennessee’s most complete electrical distributor and lighting resource, this company is committed to the highest levels of customer service, product quality, and value—whether their customers are electrical contractors, commercial clients, homebuilders, or consumers. They use Epicor Prophet 21 to lower costs while boosting productivity, a win-win all around.
